If your stay is business or pleasure you will find everything you need.  For the business person we have phone, fax and photocopying facilities.  We also have a wireless internet connection throughout the house for those who want to keep in touch with the outside world.

If you are looking for peace and quiet why not sit and relax in our Drawing Room with comfortable chairs, an open fire and honesty bar.  Next door is the Library with an extensive range of books for your perusal from modern right back to 18th century.  Within this room is a large television with Sky, Freeview, a DVD player and surround sound together with an inviting open fire.  Down the corridor you will find our Billiard Room with a full size billiard/snooker table, allowing you to play either snooker, pool or billiards. The walls are also adorned with row after row of leather bound books.

Enjoy an Aga-cooked breakfast, using local produce and our own free range eggs, in the large Dining Room whilst enjoying the views.

We have five double rooms, all with king size beds, and a twin room. One of the double rooms is our Catherine Parr room incorporating, what is reputed to be, her bed, having come from her family home of Snape Castle in the nearby village of Snape. All the bedrooms are fully equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a mini fridge with fresh milk, hairdryer, telephone, television and all en-suite.  The bathrooms all have baths, the Yellow Room and Catherine Parr also having shower attachments, and all have fluffy towels and an excellent range of toiletries. We can also accommodate a single bed in the Yellow Room to give a family room.

If you are looking for fresh air and inspiration take a turn around the splendid grounds including the Rose Garden or take a walk a little further through the park to look at the views of both the Hambleton Hills in one direction and the Yorkshire Dales in the other.

Whatever your reason for visiting us we hope we make your stay enjoyable and comfortable.
